What is your reaction when people say bad things about you? You run back and discuss? Meets the desires of others? Attempts to get rid of this situation in any way and clear your name? After all, what kind of leader are you?
DO NO GIVE UP! If you have done the right thing, then you don’t need to fear. Do not run away or give up, keep going!
Great leader, you will have charges against you. You will also have people against you. But don’t worry because: you are not the focus, this is not the focus. If you are the right person at the right place and doing the right thing, then no worry if people do not think so. Each one has its role. Remember that you are not the center of things. The center is the teaching, the correct procedure, doctrine, your purpose declaration and your dependence of God. There is no need of your ego is so polished and preserved. This is not the focus, you are only a servant. You wer called to do a specific work.
What to do when things are not going well? Communicate clearly with everyone and all at once. Be humble and show that you have problems, for sure there are many, but who do not have yours? Then show which is the focus of things, making clear that you are only a servant (leader) to enforce it, even with its strengths and negative points, some like it or not - as it was with all other leaders who accomplished great things. Then point the fruits of all work. This is all you can do. And when it’s done, still do not think that will have the full approval of all! Nobody could reach that. And many have tried to change that, or are still trying or already gave up their beliefs and purposes to continue being kind. It is easy to be a leader this way. Do not be like your group, you should be different to make a difference (be “The Ugly Duckling”). Now, I say that "kind" is the one that does not say or do, things that should be said or made? This is loving yourself. Leader, so watch out not to love yourself more than the others.
Making it clear, do not expect the full approval of others, nor worry about it. After all, if everybody loves you, then something is already wrong, and surely the problem is in you. In this case, worry yes, very much so! I hope this is not your case. Besides, if the largest world leader, and most lovely, was also the most rejected in the history, so who am I to change it?
